Biography
Shannen Keene, MS (she/her) is a Grants Manager in the Department of Family Medicine. She earned her MS in Community Health from Montana State University and specialized in community-based participatory research. She has supported chronic illness self-management and suicide prevention interventions among American Indian/Alaska Natives. Most recently, she served as a Grants Manager at the Seattle Indian Health Board, overseeing federal awards focused on maternal health, HIV, and federally qualified health centers. In her free time, she enjoys sending postcards, baking and sharing sweet treats, and being in community with others.
